Ringed plover on the sand

On my day off from work i got up at 4:40 am so i could get to see some of the local wildlife at Pagham harbor before it was disturbed by holiday makers and walkers. I was well rewarded with this Ringed Plover.

Greylag Goose

Taken the same day as the previous post. This is a photograph of a Greylag goose lifting its head out of the water on the lake at Kew gardens. The light was strong that day so i was able to use a low ISO (100).
Although this isnt a particularly rare bird, the droplets of water make it a little more interesting in my opinion :).
