Photography competition

Sony launched a photography competition a few years ago and being that part of it is free i decided to enter three photos in the nature category. This is one of them that i took on holiday.

Turnstone

Another turnstone photo. This particular one was taken in Brixham harbor. I was very happy with this one as it had some lovely bokeh and i managed to get eye contact and a catch-light in the little guys eye :).

Grey seal

Whilst on holiday in Brixham we went down to a small local cove to have a bbq. Whilst there we got an unexpected visit from a pair of inquisitive grey seals.

Holiday Turnstone

This year my family and I went on holiday to Devon (Appledoor) and rented a beautiful cottage right on the coast, overlooking Appledoor bay. When we all went walking the dog the tide had just started to go out and the waders had started moving in, I managed to catch a glimpse of a bird. I spent about 20 minutes slowly following it until I was able to get a decent enough photo, with an end result I am pretty happy with :).
